Metatarsal fracture, Lisfranc fracture

Note: true axial and true coronal refer to the anatomical position (i.e. foot at right angles to leg)

Step 1. Obtain scan of foot from tibial plafond down to proximal phalanges.
Step 2. Use data set to obtain sagittal reformats aligned with the 2nd metatarsal shaft as shown.
Step 3. Use sagittal reformatted image to obtain true coronal reformats perpendicular with 2nd metatarsal shaft as shown.
Step 4. Use true coronal image to obtain true axial reformats aligned with 2nd to 4th metatarsal shafts as shown.
